Live entertainment in bars or restaurants has traditionally been a crime in Carmel.
In 2006, the ban was lifted so that with the right volume and the proper permits
it is legal to entertain musically up to 10:00 PM. Jack London's has braved this new world by beginning a Friday Happy Hour Blues Program.

Several local musicians have made the scene.
Our debut performance featured the talents of
drummer and bandleader Kim Edmundson and singer Lori Hoffer.

Since August, singer & harmonica virtuoso John Mirani presents "Dos Degos" with keyboardist Phil Coniglio.
Often guest musicians sit in and offer their special talents. Bassist John Paul and guitarist Nelson ??? as do Keyboardist and singer Sonny Gee.
Guitarist Michael Lett even sits in from time to time.
